Parks
When it comes to picnicking, ask around and you’ll hear that Lebanon County is undoubtedly the place to gather with family and friends to have picnics. Lebanon County houses many beautiful parks with picnic and sports facilities, playgrounds and walking trails.
Our parks are used throughout the entire year and when the weather gets warm, pavilions are rented for family fun, business and school events. If you love to watch sports, you’ll find many sporting events held at our parks throughout the county, so bring your lawn chair and cheer for our athletes. Management and volunteers take much pride in the care of the parks, they maintain green manicured lawns and clean facilities. If you see them working, make sure you wave and say hello.

Lebanon County while it retains a traditional feel and it’s primarily a farming community, you’ll find all the modern facilities and services of a big city with personalized attention. Lebanon County is a great community to retire, the services particularly medical is one of the reasons. Lebanon offers great medical services at the Good Samaritan Hospital and nearby town of Hershey offers world class services with a Children’s Hospital and Cancer Center. Veterans feel appreciated and cared for in our community, right here at home they can get great medical care at the Lebanon VA Medical Center nestled in the countryside.
